When it comes to experiencing the best of entertainment, indulging in luxury brand shopping, and savoring the creations of famous chefs, Las Vegas locals truly have it all. However, the thought of battling traffic on the Strip, shelling out for parking, and maneuvering through the bustling casino floors can often keep them close to home. But now, a new restaurant is set to change all that. The Guest House, which is projected to open in mid-December at Town Square on Las Vegas Boulevard, is all set to become a go-to destination for the local community.
Bringing the Highest Level of Culinary Delights
Raj Kumar, the founder of RDM Hospitality behind this restaurant, emphasizes, "We want to be that one place where the local community can gather without having to enter a hotel on the Strip. Here, they can enjoy the highest level of food, wine, and spirits, paired with in-demand music programming, all under one roof."To achieve this vision, Kumar has assembled a remarkable team. Executive chef Todd Mark Miller, known for his famous $120 Philly cheesesteak at Barclay Prime and his experience at STK, is at the helm. Alongside him is George Martin, a Vegas restaurant industry veteran who has managed prime steakhouse and other renowned restaurants.Their focus was initially on debuting in Las Vegas, but an opportunity in Austin last spring shifted their attention. The Austin restaurant quickly became a magnet for celebrities, attracting the likes of Michael Jordan, Gordon Ramsay, and Steve Aoki. The Sprawling Vegas Venue
After the success in Texas, the team is now putting the finishing touches on the 15,000-square-foot Vegas venue. As you enter, you are transported to an oasis of earth tones, with live, lush greenery and an ambient fragrance of tobacco, anise, and citrus. The open floor plan with 13-foot ceilings houses multiple environments. Diners can choose to share charcuterie and enjoy a quiet glass of wine under the pair of nine-foot-long, 100-year-old crystal Egyptian chandeliers in the parlor. Or, they can opt for a more energetic night out in the main dining room, anchored by "the Babel," a shimmering, cylindrical light fixture surrounded by plush, round banquettes.A live DJ sets the tone seven days a week from an oversized metal birdcage placed between the sunken living room bar and the dining area. Other standout elements include an 18-foot-long live edge wood table in the soundproofed private dining room, chain-linked empire chandeliers in the sunken living room bar, and a secret entrance and exit for VIPs to slip in and out unnoticed. The "New American" Menu
The "New American" menu at The Guest House will feature popular dishes from the original location, such as chicken tenders, steak tartare, beet salad, and spicy rigatoni. The restaurant will bake its buttery feuilletée brioche daily and laminate it in front of guests in a window-enclosed corner. Here, fresh pasta will also be made during the day.Other offerings include a wide range of hot and cold seafood items, an extensive caviar menu, and exclusive Vegas dishes like foie gras French toast and wagyu with fresh shaved truffle. Miller hints at secret menu items and special preparations, including a secret burger and the possible return of his celebrated cheesesteak, for the savvy locals to enjoy alongside the extensive wine menu and signature cocktails.Upon opening in the former Tommy Bahama retail space, the restaurant will be open seven days a week, from 5 p.m. until 2 a.m.Additional Luxuries
Other details that add to the allure of The Guest House include free valet parking, a members-only speakeasy located behind temperature-controlled wine lockers, and luxurious vanities in the women's powder room. Kumar says, "We are aiming to create something extremely special for the community – a beautiful environment that fosters excitement, inspires connection, and becomes a true gathering spot."
