High School Senior Honored for Outstanding Achievements

In a heartwarming recognition of excellence, Jersey Shore Senior High School has bestowed the prestigious title of January Lions Club Student of the Month upon Hannah Elizabeth Heaton. This esteemed accolade highlights Hannah's remarkable contributions in academics, sports, and community service throughout her high school years. The daughter of Matt and Christina Heaton, Hannah has consistently demonstrated leadership and dedication in various domains, making her an exemplary student.

Achievements and Contributions

During this crisp winter season, the spotlight shines on Hannah Elizabeth Heaton, who has been named the January Lions Club Student of the Month at Jersey Shore Senior High School. Her journey through high school has been marked by significant achievements and unwavering commitment to both personal and communal growth.

Hannah has excelled in athletics, being a four-year member of the basketball and golf teams. She achieved district championships in golf for two consecutive years and earned letters in the sport. Beyond the playing field, she has also taken on leadership roles within the school's Outdoor Club, serving as president during her junior and senior years. Outside of school, Hannah enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking, and attending sporting events with friends. Looking ahead, she plans to pursue a degree in environmental science at a four-year college, aspiring to work in game commission, DCNR, or forestry. Her aspirations are fueled by a deep-seated passion for nature and conservation.
