In 2003, on November 29th, Pax began his life in a rather unique circumstance. He spent a significant portion of those early years, about three and a half years, confined to one place - a room in an orphanage outside Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Along with 20 other kids, he had no say in what he did and was deprived of freedom. This was the backdrop of his early days as Angelina shared with MSN in 2007.

A New Chapter with the Jolie Family

When Pax joined Maddox and sisters Zahara and Shiloh, his life took a remarkable turn. Suddenly, he found himself in a free and loving environment surrounded by new siblings and parents. As he learned English, his true nature began to shine through. He was both loving and wild, for he had finally experienced freedom. This transformation was a sight to behold, as Angelina continued to describe. The first sign of his newfound freedom was his participation in Angelina's animated film "Kung Fu Panda 3" in 2016. He voiced the character Yoo, showing his interest in the family business. Before that, he served as a set photographer on "First They Killed My Father" and even attended the 2018 Golden Globes with his mom.He also played an active role in Atelier Jolie, the creative fashion collective and alteration company Angelina opened in NYC. He helped with the decoration, adding his touch to the place. Additionally, he worked in the assistant director department on the Italian set of her upcoming film "Without Blood".As Angelina told People about working with both Pax and Maddox, "When a film crew is at its best, it feels like a big family, and that's exactly how it was with them. It felt natural to have them be a part of these projects." Pax's journey from a restricted orphanage life to being an integral part of the Jolie family and the entertainment industry is truly a remarkable one.
