Sports Illustrated has learned that this is "the first real-time animated NBA game using Sony's Beyond Sports technology." On Christmas Day at noon ET, Dunk The Halls will air on ESPN2 as an alternative option for the San Antonio Spurs-New York Knicks game. It will feature iconic Disney characters in a virtual live recreation of the on-court action, adding a whole new dimension to the holiday sports viewing experience.
