Experience the Magic of Being a Cubs Legend

History and Origins

For more than three decades, Randy Hundley's Cubs fantasy camp was the pioneer in this field. Games were held at HoHoKam Park and later at Sloan Park, with many teams now following suit. However, Hundley's camp held a special place in the hearts of baseball fans.

Now, Karl Marquardt has taken the baton and begun Northside Baseball Fantasy Camp. It will be held in Tucson, Arizona this coming January, continuing the legacy in a new way.

The Camp Experience

Northside Baseball Fantasy Camp offers Cubs Fans the incredible opportunity to be a Chicago Cub for a week. A staff of 19 former Cubs, including Fergie Jenkins, Lee Smith, Shawon Dunston, and more, coaches the teams.

From January 26 to February 2, 2025, in Tucson at the former spring training facility of the White Sox and Diamondbacks, campers play 10-game "seasons". The camper experience is comprehensive, with a locker filled with Cubs gear including personalized authentic on-field jerseys, uniform pants, belt, socks, and a fitted cap. Registration includes a seven-night stay at the Hilton Tucson East, transportation to and from the ballpark, pro swag, breakfasts, lunches, and three evening events. At the ballpark, campers have access to pro trainers, a fitness/weight room, and a massage therapist to keep them in top shape.

The Bonding Experience

Northside Camp was developed by veterans of Randy Hundley's Cubs Fantasy Camps and is dedicated to continuing his legacy while adding updated enhancements. When you first walk into the clubhouse and find your personalized locker filled with uniforms and gear, the "wow" factor is indescribable. Seeing the lockers of your favorite Cubs legends next to yours creates a unique bond.

Whether in the batting cages or on the practice mounds, getting pro-tips from these legends and then using them to success is an unforgettable moment. During the camp, you realize that it's not just about baseball; it's about the relationships and bonds formed with the Cubs legends, teammates, and other campers.
