Since the seventh grade, he has been a varsity player for the Lake View Wild Gators, where he has honed his skills under the guidance of his father and head coach, Kip Herlong. During his time with the Wild Gators, Herlong has helped the program capture a Class A state championship and a runner-up finish, showcasing his exceptional talent and leadership abilities.

All-State and All-Pee Dee Accolades
