The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, is all set to welcome fans to its campus on Saturday, Nov. 23. This highly anticipated football game against the University of Texas at El Paso marks the fourth meeting between the Volunteers and Miners, with the first encounter since 2018. The excitement is palpable as kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. EST inside the renowned Neyland Stadium. Gates will open at 11 a.m., allowing fans to make their way in and soak in the pre-game atmosphere.

This game will be a digital-only broadcast on ESPN+/SEC Network+. This matchup is the annual Salute to Service game, where Tennessee Athletics pays tribute to our nation’s service members, veterans, and their families. Members of UT’s Army and Air Force ROTC programs will join other branches of the military in the color guard to lead the Vol Walk and present the colors during the national anthem. A pregame flyover will feature a KC-135 from the 134th Air Refueling Wing at McGhee Tyson Air Base. It’s important to note that Gates 4, 4A, 6, and 8 are not operational this season due to ongoing stadium improvements. However, there are additional gates for fans to use. There is limited paid public parking on campus along Volunteer Boulevard West between Todd Helton Drive and Cumberland Avenue, with mobile-pay spots costing $60. Shuttles for season ticket parking permit holders will begin running three hours before kickoff, starting at 10 a.m. Free accessible parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis on the UT Institute of Agriculture campus. An accessible shuttle will drop fans off at the Student Union loading dock. Public parking is also available in downtown Knoxville garages and lots. The Market Square and State Street garages are free, while other parking areas range in price from $30 to $60 for cars. Metered locations cost $25. Fans can choose to ride a Knoxville Area Transit bus to campus. A day pass costs $2, and three routes can take fans to Cumberland Avenue. KAT will offer two shuttles for the game that begin three hours before kickoff from the Civic Coliseum and Market Square/Krutch Park. Each shuttle is $10 round trip per person, and additional parking fees may apply. Shuttle tickets can be purchased only through KAT’s free official app, Transit. Drones and unmanned aircraft systems are strictly prohibited on university property starting four hours before the scheduled kickoff time of a football game, during the game, and for two hours after the conclusion. Fans are allowed to bring one unopened factory-sealed clear water bottle and one empty clear water bottle per person. As required by the SEC, fans can bring one clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or a one-gallon clear resealable plastic storage bag. They can also bring a small clutch purse not to exceed 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. No other bags will be allowed inside the stadium. Fans interested in purchasing an approved clear bag can visit the Official Team Store at Neyland Stadium, VolShop locations in the Student Union, at the corner of Cumberland Avenue and 17th Street, and in University Commons, as well as other area retailers. Smoking is prohibited at UT, including within private vehicles parked or operated on university property. Anyone attempting to enter the stadium with alcohol will be denied entry, and the same policies apply to fans sitting in the student section.Other Prohibited Items
Artificial noisemakers, open umbrellas, outside food, snacks and beverages (unless medically necessary), radios without headphones, video cameras, professional cameras and cameras with detachable lenses, stadium seats with arms or side pockets, selfie sticks, and weapons of any kind, including pocket knives, are not allowed inside the stadium. No items can be stored or left at the gates. However, fans can bring cushions or seats without arms or side pockets, small cameras, binoculars and mobile phones, and small bags with medically necessary items (Note: Diapers and non-medically necessary items for babies and young children, including snacks, must be carried in a clear bag).
