The Wellington Sports Academy has secured the services of several renowned baseball professionals to oversee its operations. Devon Travis, a graduate of Palm Beach Central High School, will serve as the president of baseball operations and general manager. Travis, who was originally drafted by the Detroit Tigers, made his MLB debut with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2015 and played with the team as a second baseman until 2018.Jarrod Saltalamacchia, currently the head baseball coach at the King's Academy, will take on the roles of manager and director of player development. Saltalamacchia, a catcher and a graduate of Royal Palm Beach High School, was drafted in the first round out of high school by the Atlanta Braves and won a World Series ring with the Boston Red Sox in 2013.Jovon Edwards, a fourth-round MLB draft pick, will serve as the director of recruiting and assistant general manager, while Scott Feyereisen has agreed to be the assistant director of recruiting.Pitching Expertise and Infield Mastery
