The WBAL Kids Campaign: "Coats for Kids" - Keeping Baltimore's Youth Warm

Nov 21, 2024 at 3:01 PM
The WBAL Kids Campaign has been dedicated to a noble cause for over a decade. In partnership with Burlington, they have been providing new coats to Baltimore-area youth for the past 12 years. This year alone, more than 20 organizations received an impressive 2,200 coats for those in need. For some children, this may be their very first coat.

Thanking the Community

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our listeners and viewers for their unwavering support. Your contributions have made a significant impact on the lives of these young people.

Beyond the "Coats for Kids" Drive

The "Coats for Kids" Drive is just one facet of the WBAL Kids Campaign's efforts to help those in need. With a history of over 40 years, their mission is to provide the essential elements that allow kids to be kids. This includes funding for summer camp programs, ensuring that children have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and create lasting memories. Additionally, they assist organizations in providing meals to young children and their families during the holidays, showing that even in difficult times, there is hope and support.

Annual Fundraiser - A Chance to Make a Difference

The WBAL Kids Campaign's annual fundraiser will take place once again this year at Valley View Farms in Cockeysville from December 19th to 20th, between 5:30 am and 10 am. We encourage you to join C4 and Bryan Nehman for their live broadcasts each day. By participating, you can directly contribute to the betterment of Baltimore, one child at a time.

Making a Lasting Impact

The WBAL Kids Campaign is committed to creating a more positive Baltimore through their various initiatives. They understand that every child deserves a warm coat, a chance at summer fun, and a meal during the holidays. Their work extends far beyond the surface, touching the lives of countless young people and families. Through their efforts, they are helping to build a stronger community and a better future for Baltimore.
