In the highly anticipated "I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!" show, viewers have been on a rollercoaster of emotions as Dean McCullough continues to take on Bushtucker trials. His panicked screams have become a familiar sight, amusing the audience while they keep voting for him to do more. However, his track record shows some challenges, with zero stars on one occasion and early quitters in other trials. Unraveling the Trials of Dean McCullough in "I’m A Celebrity"
Dean McCullough's Sixth Bushtucker Trial
Dean McCullough has once again stepped into the spotlight with his sixth Bushtucker trial. In this latest instalment, he tackled the Jack and the Scream Stalk trial. The structure, resembling a beanstalk and castle, presented a unique challenge as he had to climb it while assembling a golden egg. Alongside this, he rummaged through boxes filled with various critters and creepy crawlies, trying to secure stars that could be traded for food in camp. As the trial got underway, viewers took to X, expressing their boredom and calling for a change. One viewer said, "I’m sorry but this is not right. The rules should change. If one person is nominated every time, after 2/3 times, the next person with highest votes should do it instead." Another posted, "Stop making fun of the same celebs always doing the same trials and use your power as hosts and producers to change the rules to celebs being exempt from doing trials more than two trials in a row. It’s getting BORING now."
Dean McCullough's determination was evident as he broke his own record in this trial, managing to grab 10 stars out of a possible 12. But the climb proved tough, and he told hosts Ant and Dec, "Boys, boys, I can’t hold on." The presenters urged him to hang on, insisting he could do it, but unfortunately, he fell, ending the trial.
Early Quits and Viewer Pleas
Dean McCullough's history of early quitters has also drawn attention. In previous trials, he has shown signs of frustration and called out, "I’m a celebrity get me out of here." This has led viewers to plead for a shake-up in the system. One fan wrote, "Surely, there should be a rule that a person can not be voted more than twice for trials.. they come out of the votes for a couple of days…. this is not good telly peeps give others a chance." Another viewer pleaded, "Please can you all vote for someone else to do a trial next? It’s getting boring watching Dean do ’em all."
The show airs nightly on ITV1 at 9pm and streams on ITVX, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats as they await the next twist and turn in the world of "I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!"
