Last week, I shared my top picks for Amazon day dresses under $30, and today I’m circling back with a review of the two dresses I ordered. Good news: I absolutely love them!
Yellow Midi Dress
Both dresses I ordered are from Amazon Essentials, a brand I trust for its reliable sizing and clear product descriptions. The first is a sunny yellow midi dress, and I’m obsessed with the color! The dress fits true to size (I’m wearing a small), and it’s made of lightweight viscose that’s breathable but not sheer. It does arrive a little wrinkled, but nothing that a quick steam won’t fix. It has a flattering cut, a side zipper for easy wear, and you can even wear a regular bra with it (I’m wearing a strapless bra here). For $25.90, I’m impressed with the quality and how versatile it is. You can dress it up with block heels for a more polished look or pair it with a denim jacket and white sneakers for a more casual vibe. I’m loving this chartreuse color, but it also comes in lots of other shades—perfect for summer!
Red Floral Swing Dress
The second dress is a swingy red floral shift, which is a perfect option for casual summer days or even holidays like Memorial Day. While it’s a similar style to a popular Walmart dress, it doesn’t have pockets, and the fabric is a little thinner and about half an inch shorter. That said, it’s still a great value at $20 and fits true to size (wearing small). This one comes in a bunch of great colors and extended sizes, making it a versatile option for different body types. I love how fun and flirty the red floral print is—it’s such a cheerful dress for summer!
Accessories to Complete the Look
I also picked up a straw bag from Amazon, and I’m loving it! It’s under $40, has a beautiful shape, and the color is perfect for summer. It’s large enough to hold everything I need, but the crossbody strap makes it super practical. Plus, the bag won’t snag your clothes, which is always a win in my book.
