Jaiden Stell arrives with impressive credentials, recognized as a four-star recruit by both Rivals and Softball America. These reputable scouting services place her among the top 100 prospects nationally for the 2028 class. While Rivals identifies her primarily as a corner infielder, ranking her as the second-best player in Arizona and eighth nationally in that position, Softball America sees her as a catcher. Her scouting report commends her unique ability as a left-handed thrower and right-handed hitter, noting her adept framing of pitches and robust lower body strength. Offensively, Stell is celebrated for her excellent swing timing and her capacity to drive the ball with significant power across the field, particularly when fully extended. During her freshman year in 2024-25, representing Verrado High School in Buckeye, Arizona, she achieved an exceptional batting average of .570, complemented by 15 doubles, four triples, and seven home runs, earning her a spot on the 5A All-Conference first team.
Annika Ridling, Stell's teammate from the Arizona Rising organization, brings a strong pitching arm and diverse athletic background to the Wildcats. Playing for Desert Vista High School in Phoenix, Ridling also participates in track and volleyball, showcasing her all-around athleticism.
