Austin FC recently announced the termination of Head Coach Nico Estevez and Sporting Director Rodolfo Borrell. This significant leadership overhaul follows a disappointing 2-1 defeat against Sporting Kansas City, a team currently last in the standings, which served as the breaking point for the club's management.

Since its inception in 2021, Austin FC has enjoyed robust community support, regularly playing to sold-out crowds in a city new to professional sports. The team even secured a playoff berth in its second season.
