Emerging reports from Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu suggest that the transfer of Alexander Nübel to Beşiktaş is approaching finalization.

The initial sum involved is reportedly €5 million, to be transferred immediately to Säbener Straße, with an additional €5 million potentially payable through performance-related clauses. Nübel has also reportedly accepted the terms with the Turkish Süper Lig team, where he is guaranteed the position of first-choice goalkeeper. Despite Bayern's initial aspirations of securing up to €20 million for the player, who spent the last three years on loan at VfB Stuttgart, the club will now at least alleviate the burden of his substantial salary.
