During his third round on the Fields Ranch East course at PGA Frisco, Woods faced significant challenges, recording a score of 5-over-par 77. This performance brought his cumulative score for the week to 6 over par, placing him below the projected cut-off of even par.

Woods commenced the tournament with solid rounds, posting scores of 75 and 70 in his first two outings, which allowed him to successfully advance through the initial 36-hole cut.

The young golfer, hailing from Jupiter, Florida, started his third round with a promising 1-over 37 on the front nine.
