Drafted fifth overall in 2019 by the Buccaneers, White quickly made his mark despite an early-season MCL sprain. He emerged as a key defensive playmaker, tallying 91 tackles, 2.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, two defensive touchdowns, and an interception. His stellar rookie season earned him two NFC Defensive Rookie of the Month awards and a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team.
