Former President Trump Received Over $122,000 in Complimentary Event Tickets in 2025

Former President Donald Trump, a prominent figure often seen at significant athletic competitions, was the recipient of event tickets totaling $122,050 for ten different occasions during the previous year. This information comes from his annual financial filing, which was made public by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics on Wednesday.

Furthermore, an investigative piece by Front Office Sports revealed that the Secret Service expended nearly $800,000 to provide security for Trump across four events. A substantial portion of this, over $561,842, was attributed to his presence at the 2025 Daytona 500, with hotel accommodations alone exceeding $335,000. Among the notable gifts, Trump received tickets valued at $50,000 for Super Bowl LIX, which saw the Philadelphia Eagles triumph over the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans, a courtesy extended by Gayle Benson, the owner of the New Orleans Saints. Other ticket acquisitions in 2025 included the U.S. Open tennis tournament (10 tickets, $25,000 from Rolex), the FIFA Club World Cup (10 tickets, $15,000 from FIFA president Gianni Infantino), the Ryder Cup (15 tickets, $11,250 from PGA of America), and UFC events in Miami and Newark (30 tickets, $6,750 from UFC CEO Dana White). He also received tickets to baseball and football games, specifically the New York Yankees vs. Detroit Tigers (15 tickets, $3,000 from Yankees chairman Hal Steinbrenner) and the Washington Commanders vs. Detroit Lions (15 tickets, $2,250 from Commanders owner Josh Harris). Trump’s engagement with sports continued into the current year, as he attended a UFC card hosted on the South Lawn of the White House. Given his close association with Gianni Infantino, it is anticipated that Trump will present the trophy to the FIFA World Cup champion following the final match on July 19 in East Rutherford, N.J.
