The action-packed schedule kicks off with the North Carolina American Legion State Tournament from July 25th to 29th, exclusively held at Sims Legion Park in Gastonia. Following this, the baseball fervor continues from August 5th to 9th with the American Legion Super Regional Tournament. This unique event will be co-hosted by the City of Cherryville and the City of Gastonia, marking a historic collaboration where two regional tournaments will take place within the same county for the very first time. Cherryville's Fraley Field will be the venue for the South Regional Tournament, welcoming state champions from Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia. Concurrently, Sims Legion Park in Gastonia will host the Mid-South Regional Tournament, featuring champions from Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.
