Kendrick, a formidable player from Tampa, Florida, weighing 300 pounds and standing 6-foot-4, quickly made his decision after receiving an offer from the Gators on March 24. His recruitment was swift, culminating in a campus visit for the spring game, which evidently solidified his choice over more than 20 other collegiate offers, including notable programs like the Texas A&M Aggies and Auburn Tigers.
