Simultaneously, starting left guard Jon Runyan signed a two-year deal worth $22 million, including $21.5 million in guaranteed money. Winston, now 32, is embarking on his twelfth season in the NFL. Despite being the secondary option behind Jaxson Dart, he is highly valued for his leadership qualities. In his previous stint with the Giants, he recorded 567 passing yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions over three games. His extensive career includes 89 starts, predominantly with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2015 to 2019, where he was a No. 1 overall pick and a Pro Bowl selection as a rookie. His most statistically prolific year with Tampa Bay saw him achieve 5,109 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 30 interceptions, leading the league in both passing yards and interceptions that season. Jon Runyan, 29, has been an integral part of the Giants' offensive line for the past two seasons, having joined as a free agent in 2024 on a three-year, $30 million contract.
