Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, a forward who dedicated ten seasons and 700 matches to the NHL, has officially concluded his professional hockey journey. Throughout his career, Bellemare distinguished himself by representing five different teams, etching his name in the annals of history as the French-born player with the most appearances in the league.

Bellemare's impactful tenure in the NHL included stints with the Philadelphia Flyers, Vegas Golden Knights, Colorado Avalanche, Tampa Bay Lightning, and most recently, the Seattle Kraken during the 2023-24 season. His offensive contributions totaled 138 points, comprising 64 goals and 74 assists, alongside an impressive plus-22 rating. Notably, he was an original selection of the Vegas Golden Knights in the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft, showcasing his value to new franchises.

Beyond regular-season play, the 41-year-old athlete was a consistent presence in the postseason, participating in 85 playoff games where he notched five goals and ten assists. Bellemare's teams reached the pinnacle of the sport twice, competing in the Stanley Cup Final.
