His vision centered on creating a more personal and impactful experience, moving beyond the relentless cycle of large-scale runway shows and high-volume wholesale, which often lead to overproduction.
The salon-style showcase provided a stark contrast to the typical fashion spectacle, allowing for a deeper connection between the audience and the garments. Cronau expressed his inspiration, noting, 'A century ago, salons were platforms for women to voice opinions and access influence otherwise denied. This is where I live and work, and presenting here aligned perfectly with my brand's architecture.' The collection itself was a meticulously curated series of 16 minimalist looks, predominantly in black and white.
