The Chicago Bulls officially announced on September 14th that Hardaway has been appointed as their new video coordinator. This move places him within the coaching staff, specifically under the leadership of the team's recently hired head coach, Tiago Splitter, who joined the organization this offseason.
From G League to Professional Coaching
Before making the leap to the NBA coaching ranks, Hardaway spent the 2024-25 season competing in the NBA G League with the Capital City Go-Go. This experience provided him with further insights into the professional game, preparing him for his new responsibilities with the Bulls.
A Distinguished Collegiate Career at Memphis
Hardaway dedicated his entire collegiate athletic career to the Memphis Tigers. He was notably the first player to commit to the university after his father assumed the head coaching position in 2018. His most statistically impactful season occurred in 2022-23, where he started 19 games and contributed an average of 5.4 points per game. During the 2023-24 season, he also had the unique opportunity to play alongside his brother, Ashton Hardaway.
