High school football teams across Northeast Kansas have concluded their third week of competition, delivering a range of outcomes across different classifications. In the 6A category, Northwest emerged victorious with a 26-14 win over Junction City, while Manhattan showcased a dominant performance, defeating Dodge City 42-14. Bishop Carroll also secured a notable 34-23 victory against Washburn Rural. The 5A division saw a nail-biting finish as Labette County edged out Emporia 29-28. Seaman delivered a resounding 62-7 defeat to Shawnee Heights, and Lansing overcame Topeka West with a score of 42-14.

Moving to 4A, Wamego comfortably beat Rock Creek 49-17, and Highland Park took down Atchison 50-34. The 2A division saw Oskaloosa defeat Atchison County 34-26, and Riley County secure a close 20-15 victory over Rossville (1A). In 1A action, Centralia delivered a dominant 49-0 performance against Doniphan West, Jackson Heights overcame Horton 42-22, and Jefferson County North shutout Pleasant Ridge 14-0. Onaga earned a 14-8 win against Wabaunsee, and Valley Heights narrowly defeated Republic County 14-12. The 8-Man category featured Axtell's commanding 54-6 victory over Chase County and Troy's impressive 54-8 win against Cair Paravel.
