Kaulig Racing's NASCAR Truck Team Achieves Season-Best Performance at Watkins Glen

Kaulig Racing's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series contingent, operating as the primary outfit for Ram's re-entry into the sport, celebrated a momentous day at Watkins Glen. Prior to this event, the team's five Ram 1500s had collectively managed only five top-ten finishes throughout the year, with their highest placement being seventh. However, at Watkins Glen International, the team achieved a remarkable feat by having three trucks finish within the top ten in a single race, simultaneously setting a new team best with A.J. Allmendinger securing sixth place in the No. 25 Ram.

This impressive showing continued with Mini Tyrrell, who earned his first top-ten finish since joining the Truck Series, placing eighth. Brenden Queen further contributed to the team's success by finishing ninth. While Corey LaJoie came in twelfth and Justin Haley twenty-third, Haley's race was unfortunately cut short by a mechanical issue on the final lap, preventing him from contending for a top-ten spot. This event undeniably marks the Kaulig Ram team's most successful outing to date, with Allmendinger also being in a strong position for the team's inaugural top-five finish before the final restart.

The drivers shared their perspectives on the Watkins Glen outcomes. Allmendinger, a past Cup Series winner at the Glen, expressed satisfaction with a solid top-ten finish, acknowledging the tire challenges during the final restart but highlighting the team's effort to maximize their performance. Tyrrell, whose participation stemmed from winning the 'Ram: Race for the Seat' competition, celebrated his first top-ten finish, attributing it to strategic calls by his crew chief Bruce Cook and emphasizing the boost in confidence for the team. Queen, responsible for three of the team's eight top-ten finishes this year, reflected on the result, admitting he expects more from himself despite the strong finish, and looks forward to future races. The team anticipates further excitement with Clint Bowyer and Travis Pastrana slated to drive in upcoming races.

This exceptional performance at Watkins Glen underscores the dedication, strategic acumen, and collaborative spirit within Kaulig Racing. It serves as a powerful reminder that perseverance and teamwork can lead to significant achievements, inspiring not just the racing community but also anyone striving for excellence in their endeavors. The team's upward trajectory symbolizes the boundless potential that emerges when talent, hard work, and opportunity converge, fostering an environment where every challenge is a stepping stone to greater triumphs.
