Los Angeles FC forward Amin Boudri is reportedly on his way back to Sweden, with a transfer to Hammarby IF nearing completion. This move signifies a return home for the 21-year-old talent, who has spent a short period in Major League Soccer.

LAFC Finalizes Transfer of Amin Boudri to Hammarby IF

Los Angeles FC is reportedly in the final stages of orchestrating the transfer of their 21-year-old forward, Amin Boudri, to the Swedish club Hammarby IF. The Athletic disclosed this development on a recent Monday. The transaction is anticipated to involve a fee of approximately $3.7 million, allowing Boudri to rejoin a Swedish team. Boudri, who previously commenced his professional career with GAIS in Sweden in 2024, made his move to LAFC in January 2026. His initial contract with the MLS side was set to extend through 2029, with an additional option for 2030. During his tenure with LAFC, Boudri participated in four regular-season MLS matches before this impending transfer.

This transfer underscores the dynamic nature of professional football, where player movements are frequent and strategic. For LAFC, it represents a significant financial gain from a player who had limited appearances, while Hammarby IF acquires a young talent with prior experience in the Swedish league. Boudri's return to his home country could provide him with more playing opportunities and further development, demonstrating how both financial considerations and player development influence club decisions.
