Following her impressive showing, freshman sensation Mia Twedt secured a runner-up position in the 800-meter run, clocking in at 2:15.09, which also guarantees her a spot in Columbus.

The 1,600-meter run saw twin sister Gabi Twedt and senior Katya Prykhodko both qualify for the state competition. Prykhodko finished fourth overall with a time of 5:09.44, closely followed by Gabi Twedt in fifth place at 5:09.63, with both athletes achieving automatic qualification.
