Meanwhile, Buddy Kennedy, 27, who joined the Mariners in late June after being acquired from the San Francisco Giants, appeared in five games for Seattle. During his brief time, he managed one double in ten at-bats while playing both second and third base. Over his five-season MLB career with seven different teams, Kennedy holds a career batting average of .167, with two home runs and 20 RBIs.
