Under the astute leadership of head coach Kimberly Donoghue, the McGill-Toolen Yellow Jackets cheerleading squad, comprising 24 dedicated members, possesses an exceptional ability to ignite enthusiasm within any crowd. This talented group includes an impressive six UCA All-Americans, underscoring their individual skill and collective prowess in the sport.
An Enriching Experience at UCA Cheer Camp
The team embarked on an invaluable journey to the UCA cheer camp in July, an event described by their coach as a profoundly positive experience for both the junior varsity and varsity squads, as well as all coaching staff involved. This camp served as a crucial platform for skill development and team cohesion.

During their time at the camp, the athletes dedicated countless hours to refining their routines and mastering advanced stunting techniques. The junior varsity squad clinched first place in both sideline cheer and the camp routine categories, demonstrating their exceptional talent and synchronized performances. Not to be outdone, the varsity team secured a first-place finish in sideline cheer and an admirable third place in cheer and camp routine, showcasing their consistent excellence.
