This confusion was exacerbated by the Devils' recent removal of Goaltending Coach Dave Rogalski from their directory, while Duggan's name remained.

Nevertheless, she asserted her complete and unwavering commitment to PWHL Hamilton, indicating that the Devils' directory simply requires an update.
A Distinguished Career: From Player to Leadership Role
Duggan's history with the PWHL dates back to 2024, where she served as a Special Consultant to Hockey Operations and a member of the league's Player Safety Committee. These responsibilities were managed concurrently with her duties at the Devils. She embarked on her journey with the New Jersey organization in May 2021 as Manager, Player Development, subsequently advancing to Director of Player Development in May 2022. While she has previously demonstrated her capacity for multitasking between the two organizations, this dual role is no longer in effect.

For PWHL Hamilton, Duggan has already made significant strides in building the team, having successfully signed Brianne Jenner, Kayle Osborne, Alina Muller, Nicole Gosling, and Emily Clark through the 2026 Expansion Roster Distribution Process. Emily Clark, one of the new recruits, intimated that Duggan's vision and leadership for Hamilton were instrumental in her decision, and that of other players, to join this specific expansion team. As previously reported, Duggan's extensive career also includes serving on the USA Hockey Board of Directors, its Executive Committee, and the Women's Advisory Committee. She was a pioneering member of the NHL's Player Inclusion Committee and has held various positions with the Women's Sports Foundation. Furthermore, the former New Jersey staff member boasts a highly decorated career as a player for the U.S. Women's National Hockey Team. Over her 14-year tenure with Team USA, she earned eleven medals, including one gold and two silver at three Winter Olympics, and seven gold and one silver at eight IIHF Women's World Championships.
