Additional Players Ruled Out and Their Replacements
In addition to Messi, three other athletes have been officially declared unavailable for the All-Star Game: Hugo Cuypers, Rodrigo De Paul, and Mbekezeli Mbokazi. Cuypers, who earned his spot with the Chicago Fire, was recently transferred to Mexico's CF Monterrey. De Paul, an Inter Miami midfielder, is also resting after his World Cup duties with Argentina. Mbokazi, a Chicago Fire defender from South Africa, is sidelined due to a lower-body injury sustained during the summer's World Cup.

To fill the vacancies left by these prominent players, four new talents have been added to the MLS All-Star lineup. Yannick Bright, an Inter Miami midfielder, has been crucial to his team's strong 9-2-1 record in his 12 starts. Vancouver Whitecaps midfielder Andres Cubas brings three assists from 12 matches. Houston Dynamo forward Guilherme, in his debut season, boasts an impressive eight goals and five assists.
