The 2026 Run Norwich event was particularly remarkable for the record-breaking achievements of its champions. Daisy Glover, making her debut in the race, dominated the women's category, crossing the finish line with a new course record of 33 minutes and 26 seconds. In the men's division, Jonathan Escalante-Phillips, a teacher from Cambridgeshire, not only surpassed his 2024 record but also achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first competitor to complete the 10km race in under 30 minutes, with an impressive time of 29 minutes and 59 seconds.
