The annual awards ceremony, which saw plaques distributed to winners over the past several weeks, highlighted exceptional performances and dedicated individuals who excelled throughout the year. Cathedral Prep and Fairview High School were particularly distinguished, each receiving the coveted Varsity Cup for their dominant performances in large and small school categories, respectively.

Among the key recipients, Meadville volleyball was celebrated as the Male Team of the Year, while Maplewood volleyball earned the title of Female Team of the Year, showcasing their dominance in the sport. Coaching excellence was also recognized, with Nick Bancroft of Meadville volleyball and Sheila Bancroft of Maplewood volleyball taking home the Male and Female Coach of the Year honors, respectively, a notable mother-and-son achievement. Individual accolades went to Tymir Phillips from Meadville as Male Athlete of the Year and Makayla Presser-Palmer from Northwestern as Female Athlete of the Year, highlighting their outstanding contributions to high school sports in the region. Charli Rea of Northwestern was named Rookie of the Year, signaling a bright future. The James Conner Courage Award was presented to Taylor Kretz of McDowell, and Floyd "Skip" Chatt received the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Denny Lynch was honored with the Golden Whistle Award, celebrating long-standing commitment and inspiration within the sports community.
In various individual sports, Zack Kruszewski of Mercyhurst Prep was honored as the District 10 Baseball Player of the Year for his impressive .568 batting average, 42 hits, and 43 stolen bases. Maddy Vogan from Sharon, despite having her senior season ahead, was named Softball Player of the Year, boasting a .609 batting average and a dominant 24-1 pitching record. On the basketball courts, Avery Collins of Erie First Christian, a three-time all-state selection, was recognized as the state's Player of the Year, having averaged 33.4 points per game and setting a district record with 2,427 career points. Makayla Presser-Palmer of Northwestern earned the Female Athlete of the Year for basketball, becoming the all-time leading scorer in District 10 history with 2,560 career points. In cross country, Kam Skelton of Mercyhurst Prep and Maggie Jewell of Mercer distinguished themselves as male and female athletes of the year, with Jewell making history as the district's first female individual PIAA cross country gold medalist since 2002. Football accolades went to Juelz Johnson and Rhashaud Dunbar of Farrell for offensive and defensive player of the year, respectively, with Luke Lewis of Hickory recognized as the top lineman. Abigail Pulcinello of McDowell excelled in girls' flag football, while Anthony LaBoda of Fairview and Kate Sowers of West Middlesex were honored for their achievements in golf. Rory Callaghan of Cathedral Prep and Alyvia Stockton of McDowell were celebrated in lacrosse. Jackson Chiocco of Fairview and Jenna Popowski of Fort LeBoeuf were named soccer players of the year, with Chiocco setting school records for assists. In swimming and diving, Jack Raimy and Jaslene Cage, both from Cathedral Prep, demonstrated exceptional talent, with Raimy securing PIAA individual and team gold medals. Gavin Ferretti and Paige Patsy, also from Cathedral Prep, were recognized as top tennis players, with Ferretti being a two-time PIAA doubles champion. Finally, in track and field, Blake Cook of Corry, a national-level hurdler and state record-breaker, and AnnaSophia Viccari of West Middlesex, a state champion in the 800-meter run, were celebrated.
