Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Coaching Leadership
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, the AHL affiliate, largely maintained their coaching lineup from the previous season. Kirk MacDonald continues his tenure as head coach, supported by assistant coaches Brad Malone and Nick Luukko. Evan McFeeters, formerly with Wheeling, has been promoted to Assistant Coach for Player Development, and Karel Popper also moved up from Wheeling to assume the role of Goaltending Coach. New additions include Ryan Lennon as Video Coach and Cedrik Cabana as Manager of Team Services, both bringing experience from the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) to the organization.

This marks Kirk MacDonald's third season at the helm of the WBS Penguins. His leadership has consistently guided the team to the Calder Cup Playoffs in the past two seasons, achieving an impressive regular season record of 86-41-14-3. Karel Popper's appointment follows the departure of Kain Tisi, ensuring a continued focus on goaltender development. The strategic hirings of Lennon and Cabana from CHL backgrounds are set to inject fresh perspectives and expertise into the team's support staff.
Florida Everblades Coaching Structure
For their new ECHL affiliate, the Florida Everblades, the coaching staff remains largely intact from their pre-affiliation period with the Penguins. Brad Ralph takes on the dual role of Head Coach and General Manager, supported by Assistant Coach Kyle Mountain and Goaltending/Development Coach Anthony Butrico. All three are new to the Penguins' organizational chart but bring established success to their roles.

Brad Ralph is embarking on his eleventh season leading the Florida Everblades. Under his direction, the team has achieved remarkable success, securing four Kelly Cup Championships in the last five seasons. Additionally, Ralph has steered the Everblades to five division titles, underscoring his consistent impact on the team's performance. The continuity with assistant coaches, both returning for their second season with Florida, suggests a stable and effective coaching environment for the newly affiliated club.
