Kirby Yates, 39, is a two-time All-Star who has pitched in 503 career games over 12 MLB seasons, recording a 3.95 ERA and three saves with the Angels this year. Lake Bachar, 31, has consistently performed well in his three seasons with the Marlins, holding a 9-5 record, five saves, and a 3.88 ERA with a notable strikeout-to-walk ratio.
