Bob Demarco, a former assistant head coach for the Rutgers men's lacrosse team, is being honored for his nearly two-decade-long tenure under coach Tom Hayes. Beyond his dedicated service at Rutgers, Demarco has been a prominent figure in the global lacrosse community, notably serving as the president of World Lacrosse. His involvement on the World Lacrosse board since 2017 and on the Nominations Committee since 2021 further illustrate his profound influence on the sport's organizational and developmental aspects.
A Legacy of Achievement: Jules Heninburg's Stellar Collegiate and Professional Career
Jules Heninburg, an acclaimed alumnus of Rutgers, will also be inducted, acknowledging his exceptional playing career. He earned two All-American distinctions and was twice named First Team All-Big Ten. A Tewaaraton Award semifinalist, Heninburg ranks second all-time at Rutgers in total points, showcasing his remarkable offensive prowess with 117 goals and 90 assists. Following a successful professional career as a four-time All-Star, he recently retired from playing but remains engaged with the sport as a broadcaster.
