Tubner's journey to this point includes a recent tenure with Kim Caldwell's coaching team at Tennessee. Before his time in Knoxville, he held the esteemed role of associate head coach at the University of Alabama during the 2023-24 season. His diverse coaching experience also spans several other institutions, including Ball State, UNC Wilmington, Indiana State, Austin Peay, Arkansas Tech, and Arkansas-Monticello, where he also served as a graduate assistant for the men's basketball team.
