Titans Scrutinize Six Offensive Prospects in Private Showcase
Titans' Proactive Talent Search Amidst Training Camp
On Friday, the Tennessee Titans conducted an exclusive workout, bringing in a group of offensive players for evaluation. This diligent talent scouting occurred despite the team's ongoing training camp activities, which are soon to be made public with fan attendance at the Vanderbilt Health Football Center.
Spotlight on Quarterback Clayton Tune
Among the six athletes being assessed, quarterback Clayton Tune garnered significant attention. The 26-year-old signal-caller had a notable collegiate career, earning first-team All-ACC honors in 2022, which led to his selection by the Arizona Cardinals in the fifth round of the 2023 draft. Tune's journey continued with two seasons in Arizona before a stint with the Green Bay Packers' practice squad in 2025, where he saw limited game action, completing 7 of 15 passes for 42 yards and one interception in one start across two appearances.
Tune's Impressive Collegiate Performance
Before his professional career, Tune excelled as a quarterback for the University of Houston. Over 47 games, he amassed an impressive record of 11,989 passing yards, threw 104 touchdowns, and had 41 interceptions, showcasing his capabilities as a dynamic college player.
Evaluating Wide Receivers and Tight Ends
The workout also included wide receivers Romello Brinson, Gary Bryant, and Devin Voisin. These experienced college wideouts are likely being considered for roles as slot receivers or for special teams contributions. Similarly, tight ends Louis Hansen and Matt Lauter, both undrafted, participated in the session, actively seeking a chance to prove their worth and secure a spot on an NFL roster.
