The academic year 2025-26 witnessed pivotal National Signing Days, where promising Texoma student-athletes formalized their futures in collegiate sports. The second National Signing Day, observed on Wednesday, February 4, saw an impressive cohort of 19 local athletes putting pen to paper. These young talents committed to various programs, ready to embark on their next chapter.
Among the notable signings from Iowa Park High School, Cate McAlister and Hannah Stewart both committed to play volleyball for Ranger College and Central Christian College, respectively. City View High School saw Aiden Jackson choose Mission University for baseball and Jay Pounds opt for Austin College for basketball. Vernon High School’s Klancy Sherril is set to join Dallas Baptist University for track & field.
Legacy High School celebrated multiple commitments, with Leah Sanchez heading to Vernon College for softball, Kylie Mancha signing with Dallas College Richland for volleyball, and Kevin Riddle and Terry McGowan both committing to Wayland Baptist University for football. Burkburnett High School showcased its baseball talent, with Adrian Arias joining Northeastern State, Seth Hoyle heading to the College of the Ozarks, and Talin Webb enrolling at Labette Community College.
Individual standouts included Noah Strohman (Holliday) and Ryder Strohman (Holliday) committing to Oklahoma State and Oklahoma Christian for cross country, respectively. Camilla Diaz (Burkburnett) chose Mid-American Christian for soccer. City View High School’s Jaydin Easton and Raelynn Moore both selected Graceland University for volleyball and soccer.
Further commitments on the February signing day included Legacy High School’s Jaedon Boatner and Daveon Barry-Combs for football at Wayland Baptist University. Vernon High School saw Ty Scott, Cordell Scott, Jamari Chance, Tru Gipson, and Manuel Ochoa commit to football programs at Midwestern State, Butler College, Hardin-Simmons University, Hardin-Simmons University, and Wayland Baptist University, respectively. Brinden Farrell (Vernon) committed to baseball at the University of Arts & Sciences of Oklahoma. John Dagenais (Petrolia) chose McMurry for football, and Jaxon Stark (Windthorst) selected Trinity University for football. In baseball, Tripp Mahaney (Graham) committed to Hardin-Simmons University, and Caden Frost (Henrietta) chose Connors State College. Softball saw Tiffany Cotter (Graham) commit to Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Memorial High School had a strong showing with Brenna Voss committing to Lubbock Christian for soccer, Carter Hoffman to Texas Tech for baseball, Emma Fritzsch to Hendrix College for soccer, Kamora Johnson to South Carolina State for soccer, Madi Walker to Langston University for softball, and Olivia Vanderburg to Galveston College for softball.
