During a thrilling week of high school soccer in North Jersey, several athletes delivered standout performances, making a significant impact on their teams' trajectories. From prolific goal scorers to impenetrable goalkeepers, these young talents showcased exceptional skill and dedication on the field. The community is now invited to cast their votes for the 'HSS North Jersey Player of the Week' to recognize these achievements.

Among the highlighted players, Michael DaSilva, a senior forward from Lakeland, was instrumental in his team's impressive 4-0 start, contributing four goals and two assists. Caden McIlveen, a junior midfielder for Midland Park, achieved his first career hat trick and added two assists, propelling his team to a 3-0 record. Paramus senior midfielder Eric Petrush also had a remarkable week, scoring four goals and assisting one, including a decisive performance against Teaneck.

On the defensive end, Eddie Tanderis, a senior goalie from Wallington, maintained a perfect record with two shutout victories, stopping all 14 shots he faced against strong opponents. Abby Felix, a senior midfielder at Pompton Lakes, was a key factor in her team's 4-0 start, netting seven goals and two assists over two games. Karen Macancela, a senior from Hackensack, secured a historic 13-save shutout against Northern Highlands, followed by four more saves in another dominant win.

Further showcasing their offensive prowess, Sophia MacGregor, a senior midfielder from Wayne Valley, recorded three goals and three assists, leading her team to crucial wins. Nadine Millet, a sophomore forward for Clifton, kept her team undefeated with two hat tricks, accumulating six goals and an assist during the week.
