The West Ottawa girls' tennis team showcased an exceptional performance at the Division 1 regional tournament held in Hudsonville, claiming their ninth consecutive regional championship. The Panthers accumulated an impressive 27 points, significantly outpacing their rivals. Rockford secured second place with 20 points, while Byron Center also qualified for the state tournament by finishing third with 18 points. Hudsonville, Grand Haven, and Grandville rounded out the top finishers in the 10-team event.
Key to West Ottawa's victory were outstanding performances in both singles and doubles. Evie Price delivered a thrilling three-set win in No. 1 singles, overcoming Rockford's Grace Ferry. Freshmen Izzy Gitler and Sydney Shafer dominated their respective No. 2 and No. 3 singles matches, demonstrating remarkable composure and skill for their age. Senior Maggie Rothstein completed a singles sweep for West Ottawa by winning at No. 4. In doubles, the teams of Hope Hughes and Haylee Geerlings (No. 2), and Olivia Smith and Audrey Anderson (No. 3) also secured victories, while Kallyn Gaul and Lovelle Kim reached the finals at No. 1 doubles. Coach Pete Schwallier praised his team's passion and commitment, noting their investment in every point played.

The Maroons amassed a total of 32 points, far outperforming Coopersville and Fruitport, which tied for second place with 15 points each. Holland Christian achieved a clean sweep, winning all eight flights in the tournament. In singles, Camryn Nadig triumphed in a hard-fought match at No. 1, while Iyla Holmes, Chloe Tait, and Evie Traverse secured comfortable wins at No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 singles, respectively. The doubles teams were equally dominant: Kassie Evenhouse and Stella Klooster (No. 1), Hope Bruinsma and Lily Wierenga (No. 2), Izzy Delcalzo and Lucia VanKlompenberg (No. 3), and Jadyn Smith and Chloe Dangler (No. 4) all claimed their respective flight championships.
