The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association has unveiled its all-state selections for the current season, honoring exceptional high school basketball talent across the state. Five players from the Post-Crescent region have achieved first-team all-state recognition, distinguishing themselves in their respective divisions. This prestigious acknowledgement celebrates their remarkable performances, leadership, and contributions to their teams throughout the demanding season.
Among the standout athletes, Grant Hardy from Appleton North, a senior guard, was named to the Division 1 all-state team. Hardy played a pivotal role in guiding his team to the WIAA Division 1 state semifinals, averaging an impressive 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. His leadership was instrumental in Appleton North securing a share of the Fox Valley Association title. Similarly, Andrew Jensen, a senior forward from Kaukauna, also earned Division 1 all-state honors. Jensen, recognized as the Fox Valley Association's player of the year, contributed significantly to Kaukauna's shared FVA championship, with averages of 17.5 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game.
In Division 3, Freedom's junior forward, Donovan Davis, received his second consecutive WBCA all-state selection. Davis was a driving force behind his team's North Eastern Conference victory, showcasing his all-around skills with 21.7 points, 12 rebounds, 4.7 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Kyler Marks, a senior forward/center from Seymour, was also honored in Division 3. Marks led Seymour to the WIAA Division 3 state final, earning the Bay Conference player of the year title with averages of 20.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists. Logan Ramczyk, a junior guard from Xavier, completed the Post-Crescent area's first-team selections for Division 3, demonstrating his versatility with 23.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 6.3 assists, along with 2.4 steals.
Beyond the first-team selections, several other talented athletes from the region received honorable mentions. Nathan Ramus of Appleton North and Tyler Schwalbach of Kaukauna were recognized in Division 1. Joseph Daly from New London earned an honorable mention in Division 2, further highlighting the depth of talent within Wisconsin's high school basketball landscape.
