According to the survey, 66% of parents have stayed up the entire night in an attempt to get everything ready for the holidays. Sleep takes a backseat as the average parent estimates they will be staying up past midnight five times during this festive season. This dedication highlights the importance parents place on making the holidays merrier for their families.It's not just about staying up late; parents are going to extreme lengths. Some have had someone get on the roof to recreate the sound of Santa's boots, covered their floors with baby powder to showcase Santa's footprints, and tied fishing line to their elf doll to make it fly. These creative efforts show the lengths parents will go to make the holidays stand out for their children.

Inspiration Sources for Holiday Magic

When it comes to getting ideas for holiday magic, Facebook emerges as the top source, with 37% of parents looking there. TV follows closely behind at 34%, and other family members are also a significant influence, with 30% seeking inspiration from them. These sources provide parents with the ideas and inspiration they need to create unique holiday experiences for their families.However, it's not always easy to be original around excitable youngsters. Half of parents agreed that Christmas Eve is the toughest winter day to keep their kids entertained. But despite the challenges, 86% consider festive activities to be "some of the best quality time" they spend with their families all year.

One-third of parents report printing out paper crafts to help make memories and entertain their kids, and 42% have printed holiday decorations.
