Homestead-Miami Speedway is set to maintain its prominent position as the host for NASCAR's climactic season finales in 2027. This announcement confirms that the Floridian track will stage the championship events for three premier series for the second consecutive year. The decision underscores the venue's enduring legacy and pivotal role within the sport's annual calendar.

NASCAR Season Finales Return to Homestead-Miami in 2027

In a recent declaration by NASCAR on Tuesday, Homestead-Miami Speedway has been confirmed as the location for the NASCAR Cup Series and two additional season-ending championship races in November 2027. This marks a significant continuity, as the venue will host these prestigious events for the second consecutive year. The 1.5-mile oval circuit, situated in Homestead, Florida, which is also scheduled to host this upcoming November 6-8 championship weekend, will again be the focal point for top-tier stock car racing. Specifically, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series championship will conclude on November 12, 2027, followed by the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series finale on November 13, and the grand culmination, the Cup Series race, on November 14. Historically, Homestead-Miami first welcomed a Cup Series race in 1999 and served as the site for all three series' finales from 2002 to 2019. While Phoenix Raceway took over championship duties from 2020 to 2025, it will now transition to host the penultimate race of the season, one week prior to the Homestead-Miami events. During the period when Phoenix Raceway hosted the season finales, Homestead-Miami continued to feature races either in the spring or during the playoff schedule. The most recent victor at the track was Kyle Larson, who triumphed in March 2025.

The continuous selection of Homestead-Miami Speedway as the ultimate battleground for NASCAR's championships is a testament to its challenging layout and its capacity to consistently deliver exhilarating conclusions to the racing season. This decision ensures that fans and teams alike can anticipate another thrilling chapter in NASCAR history at this iconic Florida venue.
